Ciao Bella!

The Guelman's Italian adventure began with a villa on the Sorrento Penninsula, about an hour south of Naples...

ok, actually the adventure began when Lufthansa messed up our itinerary and ended up seating Hernan separarately from Eden and myself, but that is a story for another time...

What better way to experience Italy than in a beautiful Villa with a view of the Island of Capri on one end and the Sorrento cliffs on the other.
Day 1: enjoy the views of the villa
Day 2: hiking somewhere in Italy
Day 3: carriage ride and lunch in Sorrento
Day 4: Positano, a coastal village along the Amalfi coast
Day 5: the island of Capri, including the blue lagoon and the boat ride from hell (rough waters and a small boat don't mix)
Day 6: Relax and enjoy

Eden did very well on her first "interactive" vacation. She got along well with her cousins and continues to spurt out "Naomi" on a daily basis. We learned that she has a sensitive stomach and good reflux, as was noted by her daily vomiting episodes (note: multiple episodes on the boat ride from hell). But she was a trooper and would completely forget her worst moments as soon as she was on stable ground. It was a splendid trip and we are now sad to say Arrivederci, Italy.
